I had a great night at the CIPR PRide South of England and Channel Islands Awards last night – and we came away with one gold and two silvers!
The gold was for a community campaign that allowed those who may never have accessed or been part of a gallery before the opportunity to have work displayed. It now goes on to the national awards too – very exciting.
The silver awards were for an annual review-turned-magazine, and for my team. I am so proud that we came away with a silver award (even if there were only two teams in the category!). The fact that we were shortlisted shows that the judges saw something in the work we have been doing. And those judges are important people in this industry, which makes it all the more special.
I’ve been to quite a few award ceremonies before, but this one definitely felt like we were all cheering everyone on and congratulating all those who were shortlisted. I’ve got my fingers crossed for the nationals and my eye on next year’s entries already…
